We are sort of recruiting now. If you'd like to join, please email us explaining who you are (age, location), what projects you're interested in, and what positions you are interested in and why you think you'd be good at them. We are particularly looking for cleaners/editors and QCers.
We welcome all DEDICATED and RESPONSIBLE people who would like to join our team of scanlation!<3 (So please! Do NOT join if you think you are going to leave the group a month after... Seriously DO NOT TT__TT)
NO EXPERIENCE is required for any of the positions as long as you are ready to learn ^^ and spend some time a week to work on the projects. (Here, I emphasize again, training people takes A LOT of OUR time and effort. Do not apply if you just want to \"see what it's like\".)
There are no concrete fixed deadlines. To keep a consistent pace for releases, all deadlines are loose and made depending on the person and time (may vary for each situation\).
So NO STRESS~ You can take a break anytime as long as you inform us of it.

Translator [Recruiting Chinese, Japanese, and Korean translators]
We are looking for KOREAN, CHINESE and JAPANESE translators. You will be expected to translate 1 chapter (of not more than 35 pages) in 1 to 2 weeks. This may vary on demand.
Job Description:
You will be assigned to a specific project/s and given the scans. Your job will be to type the translations onto a text file, using the annotations of your choice. Your work will then be sent to a Proofreader and be corrected. You might want to look over the corrections again to see if you agree with the changes.
Requirements:
Fluent in Korean, Chinese or Japanese. You must have at lease some basic knowledge of English. You don’t have to know English perfectly, we have Proofreaders that will look over your work and make corrections. You must be openminded towards changes and critiques.
Editor/Cleaner/Typesetter [Recruiting]
We are now looking for Cleaners, Typesetters and all round Editors. You will be expected to edit a chapter (not more than 35 pages) in 2 weeks (Cleaning is 1 week, Typesetting is 1 week). All this may vary on demand.
Job Description:
- Editor: Does the combined job of Cleaner and Typesetter.
- Cleaner: You will be given the raws (scans). Your job is to clean the pages out of it's original text and restore the scans to a better quality (cleaning dust, leveling, etc). You will be mostly using Photoshop.
- Typesetter: You will be given the cleaned work done by the cleaner and the translation done by the Translator. Your job will be to typeset these translations onto the cleaned pages, by making sure to choose to correct fonts (SFX, etc.)
Requirements:
All you need is dedication. No experience is required. Since we provide training, we do not wish to have someone quit after a couple of days of training, so please, commit to it if ever you apply.
New editors:
Starting in editing might take a little or more effort depending on your familiarity with Photoshop. So be patient in the training and you will be working in no time! ^^
Experienced editors:
Any Experienced Editor is welcomed to join! (We love you! oh~ experienced editors! Yup! Yup! We do!)
Proofreader [Not Recruiting]
We are looking for English Proofreaders. You are expected to proofread 1 chapter in a couple of days (max 1 week). This may vary on demand.
Job Description:
Proofreaders are assigned to specific projects and given the translations done by the translator in a text file. Their job is to correct grammatical/vocabulary mistakes, fix up awkward sentences, rephrase and shorten sentences if needed. They are expected to contact the Translator if something is unclear.
Requirements:
Fluency in English. A very good knowledge of English grammar and a wide range of vocabulary. Be able to spot and correct mistakes. Be 14 Years old or older.
Quality Checker [Recruiting!]
We are looking for Quality Checkers to look over our finished product and pick out mistakes. QCs are NOT required to edit anything. You will be expected to read through 1 chapter in 1 week. This may vary on demand.
Job Description:
Quality Checkers will be given the final product in image files. They read through the pages and point out mistakes to the editor so that he/she can change it (this include graphical errors, typesetting errors, vocabulary/grammatical/punctuation mistakes, missing pages, etc.) These corrected pages are then passed through the Quality checking process again. This cycle continues until the Quality Checker approves the final product.
Requirements:
Fluency in English. Be meticulous. Read many Mangas before (I’m sure you all did.) Be 14 Years old or older.
Designer/Illustrator/Colorist
We are looking for Designers, Illustrators and Colorists. There are NO deadline for your work. It can be submitted anytime (Within a reasonable amount of days of course). You can apply for any or all of the the 3 categories. You will be credited for your work.
Job Description:
- Designer: You will make sigs, avatars, buttons, recruiment pages, annoucement pages, credit pages, etc. using our project images. Your work will either be used on the website or be included in the releases.
- Colorist: You will color certain pages of the project. Your work will be included in the releases and hosted on the website.
- Illustrator: You are very free in what you do. You can either do fanart of your project or other projects, or draw your original charaters, etc. There is not limit in style nor on the medium used. Just let your creativity go. Your work will be hosted on the website. It can also be included in the releases if it is a fanart of our project.

Be good at what you do. Please include SAMPLES when you apply for these/this position/s.
